Empowering Women in the Community
Our Goal toward achieving our Vision
To inspire and create an atmosphere where women can collaborate to share their experience. This is done through prayers and seminars where women will utilise their skills to increase their capacity and transform their lives.
Our Values
Transformation: We encourage innovative thinking to bring about change in the lives of the women.
Empowerment: We’re convinced that empowered women can make positive change in their lives and community.
Enthusiasm: We express our desire to empower the women in our communication and activities with them.
Recognition: We respect the right of varied judgement, acknowledging the fact that everyone has a plausible contribution to make.
How we Operate
We meet quarterly to organise a forum for women to network, collaborate, and inspire one another through teaching, mentoring and build up character so we can impact our community.
We organise a retreat yearly in collaboration with other women ministries to promote socialising, networking, inspirational opportunities and time to relax and be reenergised. We have a write up monthly to fulfil the purpose of our club which will inspire, transform and build character in order to impact others we come across on a daily basis.
Yearly, we support two chosen outreach programmes to make an impact and be part of the change that they desire to see. We reach out to women referred to us via churches, health and social establishments and charities that network with us so we can be a source of empowerment and inspiration to see their lives transformed.
We acknowledge that to bring about change in the lives of women in the community, we need to make connections, collaborate, work together; use our skills and make robust contacts once our plans are in place we can now inspire others. Our three-main focus are:
- Connecting
- Counselling
- Funding
Connecting: The group is a unique networking core for women. We gather women together to discuss pertinent concerns, motivate each other, share ideas and proffer counselling to create and generate innovative change. We leverage and organise access to people who can make a difference and add value to people’s life.
Counselling: We aim to provide counselling to women who are pastor’s wife, leaders in their chosen field and those facing challenges like emotional, marital, parenting and other areas that might impact on their wellbeing.
Funding: We aim to work with a network of partners and support impactful projects in the community by raising fund and assisting women in need.
Why become a Member?
This group is a connecting core to inspire women, you’ll collaborate with like-minded women and become part of an association that is enthusiastic about empowering women across the nation. You’ll also have the opportunity to attend various conference and seminars and learn about how we support women facing challenges in their career, marital, finance and parenting.
Members of this group participate in varied ways, they raise awareness of the challenges women face, create campaign and influence change. Every member possesses different skills and is valuable in their own special way.
